Denaturing gel electrophoresis of 30-60% dialyzed seed extract contain many proteins of different sizes (lanes 1& 2); active fraction pooled after size exclusion chromatography (SEC) (lanes 3 & 4); lane 5, molecular weight marker (Fig. 3A). In activity gel, a major band (~17-19 kD) representing active trypsin inhibitor(s) is evident (Fig. 3B).
