The pro-survival actions of FSH on RAW264.7 cells and primary murine bone marrow cells. Cell number (A) and annexin V staining (B,C) was assessed after treatment with a pro-apoptotic agent, camptothesin (CPT). Positive control: M-CSF. Propidium iodine labeling was used to differentiate dead cells from cells undergoing early apoptosis; flow cytometry allowed the quantitation of annexin V-high, propidium iodide-low cells (C).
