17A12 detects MAP K-10 but not MAH 7337 in bovine monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs) and MAC-T epithelial cells. M. avium subsp. infections of MAC-T cells (A) and MDMs (B) at a 10:1 MOI were visualized by confocal microscopy. The MAP K-10 (pWes4) expressing GFP and fluorescein-stained MAH 7337 (green) were used for infections. 17A12 immunostaining (blue) shows only MAP K-10 infection at 24-h in MDMs and 1-h in MAC-T epithelial cells. The control antibody, 8G2, labels MMP (blue) demonstrating infection for MAP and MAH in both cell types. MDMs and MAC-T cells are shown in red.
