The diagram determines the multimode oscillation and single-mode oscillation states of the hair bundle, as in Fig. 4. Examples of oscillations are illustrated in the insets located in the areas corresponding to their parameter values with the same scale bar indicating 0.2-s time interval. The single-mode oscillation region with high K_sp shows only fast oscillations, whereas the single-mode oscillation region with low K_sp shows oscillations with a dominant slow period.
