(A) FACS-staining analysis confirmed that both CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells from Daf^+/+ but not Daf^−/− TCR transgenic mice expressed high levels of DAF on their surface. (B,C) Purified Daf^+/+ or Daf^−/− OT-II CD4⁺ (right panels) or OT-I CD8⁺ (left panels) T cells were cocultured with irradiated unfractionated splenocytes of C57BL/6 WT mice for 3 days in the presence of different concentrations of peptide OVA_323-339 or OVA_257-264, respectively.
