LLP peptide structural alignments reveal high level of structural similarity across clades/groups. The Cα traces from the lowest energy PEP-FOLD models for each peptide sequence from each clade/group were aligned as described under “Experimental Procedures.” Peptides are presented with the N terminus on the left and the C terminus on the right. KE demonstrated little structural similarity, consistent with a random coil conformation. Cα traces for the LLP peptides demonstrate high structure conservation across clades/groups with the exception of Group O LLP2.
