EGFR knockdown inhibits G2/M phase progression. (A) Flow cytometry plots of PCI-15B cells transfected with nontargeting control siRNA (siCON) or EGFR-specific siRNA (siEGFR). The data are representative of four independent experiments. (B) Comparison of the percentage of cells in the G0/G1, S, and G2/M phases after transfection of siCON and siEGFR. Student’s t-test indicated that G2/M phase progression was significantly (p = 0.036) inhibited by EGFR knockdown.
