Cells were transiently cotransfected with NF-κB luciferase plasmid and Renilla luciferase plasmid for 12 h and cells were treated with vehicle only or specified concentrations of delphinidin for 24 h and harvested as detailed in Materials and Methods. B, protein levels of pIKKγ, pIκBα, and total IκBα in cells treated with vehicle alone (0.1% DMSO) and specified concentrations of delphinidin in 0.1% DMSO as determined by immunoblot analysis. Equal loading of protein was confirmed by stripping and reprobing the blots with β-actin antibody.
