Size length distributions of nucleosomal DNA sequences from control cells, expressed as a percentage of the total number of nucleosome sequences. Gray histogram: all nucleosomes (∼16 million sequences). Black histogram: all nucleosomes containing at least 1 bp of any of the 16 CEN sequences (1,587 nucleosome sequences).
