ssHRP secretion is altered by the regulation of PC and PI synthesis. CHO-K1 cells with transiently transfected ssHRP were incubated for the times indicated in HEPES buffer with (black bars) or without (white bars) 200 μm choline and 5 mm inositol in the presence of 5 mm LiCl. ssHRP in the incubation buffer (A) and in cell lysates was determined by a luminescent enzymatic assay (B) or Western blot (C), as indicated.
