RNA from pooled gastrocnemius/soleus muscles was analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR. All TLRs except TLR3, along with NLRP3 were induced in Lama2(−) muscles relative to levels in Lama2(+) muscles. MyoD-hBcl-2 transgene expression inhibited the induction of TLR4, TLR6, TLR7, TLR8 and TLR9. (n = 5–8, *p<0.05, **p<0.008, ***p<0.0005).
