These are typical size distributions for 1 µm diameter (A) (1.0 µm ± 0.3 µm: 9,313 counts) and 3 µm (B) diameter (3.0 µm ± 0.6 µm: 1,680 counts) MB preparations following size separation. Narrower size distributions are attainable, but require additional size fractionation steps and result in a significant reduction in MB yield.
