Demonstration of PIAS3 binding by ChIP assay to promoter regions of targets for the newly described binding partners for PIAS3: EGR1, ETS, NR1I2 and GATA1. ChIP was performed using anti-PIAS3 and normal mouse IgG (negative control) antibodies; cMyc promoter was amplified as a positive control (as a downstream target of STAT3/PIAS3 complex). ChIP assays were repeated twice with similar outcomes. PCR was performed using specific primers for the transcription factors promoter region. ChIP assay identifies PIAS3 binding to targets of EGR, ETS, NR1I2 and GATA1 transcription factors.
