The promoters of genes that were downregulated within the first 3 h of c-Myc induction were grouped and scanned using Clover for enriched PWMs, as described in the Materials and Methods.

All PWMs were obtained from the JASPAR Core database33 except MY0001, which was derived from the literature.40,69
For each PWM, the p-value from the Clover analysis is reported.
