The kinetic data were measured in the buffer of 25 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM MgCl₂, and 10 mM CaCl₂ at pH 7.5 and room temperature. For accuracy, the substrate consumption rate in all reactions was kept below 12%.
