At the anode, glucose is oxidized to gluconolactone, where the electrons are transferred from the GOX to CNT. Catalase decomposes hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. At the cathode, electrons are transferred from CNT to laccase where dioxygen is reduced to water.
