(A) Localization of RAD18 and uH2A was visualized using the indicated antibodies. Cell phases were determined by the subnuclear distribution pattern of RAD18. To induce DSBs, HeLa cells were exposed to IR (5 Gy) and fixed 30 min later. Cell cycle phases are indicated on the left of the pictures. (B) Localization of RAD18 and uH2A in human primary female fibroblast cells. Arrowheads indicate the Barr body, based on the intense DAPI staining.
