E4f1 modulates Wnt-dependent regulation of cdx4 and hoxa9a expression. (AH) cdx4 expression in the caudal region at the end of gastrulation is reduced by inhibiting Wnt signalling and further attenuated by e4f1 depletion. (IR) Expression of hoxa9a at the end of gastrulation is likewise regulated by Wnt signalling and E4f1.
