Effects of α-santalol on cell cycle regulators in A431 cells as determined on the follows, (A) proteins involved in G₂/M phase and (B) proteins involved in G₁ phase. Cells were treated with different concentrations of α-sanatlol for different time periods, and then cells were collected by brief trypsinization. Total cell lysates were prepared and loaded to SDS-PAGE and Western blotting. Membranes were then probed with different primary antibodies followed by appropriate secondary antibody and ECL detection. Photographs of the chemiluminescent detection of the blots, which were representative of three independent experiments, are shown. β-actin was used to verify equal loading of the samples.
