SPECT/CT imaging of ¹²⁵I-labeled peptides in AA and WT mice at 1 and 4 h pi. SPECT and CT images were coregistered manually as described in Materials and Methods. For the purpose of comparison, the SPECT image volume rendering was thresholded to 60% of the maximum pixel intensity. All views are ventral, and the positions of the thyroid (T), liver (L), stomach (S), spleen (Sp), and kidney (K) are identified in Upper. Note that only p1 and p5 are capable of imaging amyloid-laden organs (liver and spleen) at 4 h.
