JH-EsoAd1 cells were treated with DCA for 2 hours in Krebs solution with normal Na⁺ (137 mM) or low Na⁺ concentration (20 mM). Panel A shows data from MTS assay and panel B shows caspase 3/7 activation assay performed 24 hours later (*p<0.05 compared to control).
