Data represent means ± S.D. of values from seven or five independent experiments of immunoblotting with antisera against GlgP (Sll1356) and GlgX (Slr1857), respectively. The levels were calibrated relative to the value obtained in the GT strain under light conditions, which was set at 100%. Differences between GT and G50 or GOX50 analyzed using Student's t test were statistically significant (*, p < 0.05; **, p < 0.005).
