Protein-protein interactions between TWIST2, Q119X, E12, and TWIST1. Growth on the –Leu-Trp selection plates demonstrates proper yeast transformation. Growth on the –Leu-Trp-His selection plates shows proper protein interaction. Wt TWIST2 and Q119X maintain the ability to interact with each other, with E12 and Twist1. However, the Q65X mutant cannot form competent protein-protein interactions with any of the proteins tested.
