Effect of Q24DA on motility of phenamil-resistant mutants. Overnight cultures started from four independent exconjugants of strain O395ΔAB containing cosmid pLM2058 (WT) or pLM2059 (Pher) were stabbed into swarm agar (control), swarm agar plus phenamil, or swarm agar with Q24DA.
