Western analysis was performed with whole-cell extracts of wild-type (wt), clpB mutant (clpB−), and complemented clpB mutant (clpB−/+) strains grown at 30°C, using an antibody to L. interrogans ClpB. Data shown are from a single experiment and are representative of at least three experiments performed with similar results. ImpL63 antibody was used as a loading control in Western blots.
