Analysis of a putative new family of disulfide isomerases. Shown is a multiple sequence alignment of TrbB-like disulfide isomerases from plasmids F, R100, and pSLT done using ClustalW. F and R100 TrbB are 90% identical in amino acid sequence while F and pSLT TrbB are 77% identical. Predicted signal sequences are italicized. The N-terminal arms predicted from results of limited proteolysis, Phyre, and PONDR are underlined. The C-X-X-C redox active sites are highlighted in bold.
