Interaction of UL16 with the gE tail. (A) Approximately equal amounts of glutathione bead-bound GST constructs, as indicated by arrowheads on a Ponceau S-stained gel, were mixed with lysates of insect cells infected with a recombinant baculovirus that expresses UL16-GFP. (B) Proteins bound to the GST constructs were loaded onto SDS-PAGE gels and analyzed by immunoblotting for GFP. The GST-UL11 construct was used as a positive control.
