Renal CD133/1+ papillary cells and immortalized renal tubular epithelia (RCTE) grown on glass coverslips for 24 h were fixed and immunostained for CD133/1, nestin, SSEA4, TRA-1-60 and TRA-1-81 (all in green). Rhodamine phalloidin (red) staining was used as a general marker to identify all cells in the cultures. Scale bars 20 µm.
