Overexpression of Insig-1 suppressed SREBP-1c transcription and affected mRNA expression of insulin secretion genes. Two groups of cells were exposed to 11.2 mM or 25.0 mM glucose for 0, 24 and 72 h, mRNA level of insulin secretion genes and FAS was detected by real-time PCR.
