Tilt and roll angles were calculated with Curves.31 In the 5′-A-Tg-G sequence context, Tg adopts an orientation that ismore extrahelical than in other complexes, which explains the marked difference in the angle values. The tilt and roll angles for B-DNAwere calculated and averaged from the structure of a B-form DNA dodecamer (PDB ID code: 1BNA).32
