Panels a–e were taken under the same magnification; close-ups of their cotyledons are represented at the bottom of each panel. (B,C) Seedlings of cop1-6 and wild type were grown in the dark at 30°C for 0-to-6 days before they were transferred to 22°C. The hypocotyl lengths (B) and cotyledon area (C) of 25 seedlings from each treatment were measured at 10 days postgermination. The error bars represent standard deviations.
