(B) Effect of prazosin on intermittent footshock-induced reinstatement. In A, rats were injected with prazosin, guanfacine or their vehicle 60 min before the test sessions, and then injected with yohimbine or its vehicle 45 min before these sessions. In B, rats were injected with prazosin 40 min before the test sessions and intermittent footshock (5 min) was given (or not given) just prior to the start of the test session. * Different from the appropriate prazosin or the guanfacine vehicle condition, p < 0.05 (n=9-11 per drug condition).
