DN Rac inhibits JNK activation by msn and NIK. 293 cells were transfected with 2 μg of msn or NIK cDNA together with 1 μg of GST-tagged JNK with or without 2 μg of DN Rac. JNK activity in the transfected cell lysates was then determined as described in Fig. 1. To ensure that equal amounts of JNK were immunoprecipitated between samples, one-half of the precipitate was immunoblotted with antibodies to GST (JNK).
