Capital C and T refer to the position of the cursor and target, respectively. Subscripts refer to trial numbers. C0 denotes the starting point of the cursor in the beginning of a block. T0 denotes the starting target, or starting reference target, respectively, in the beginning of a block. T′ denotes the “virtual” target in the allocentric task, which is the position that would correspond to the display target if the target-to-target vector were “superimposed” on the start point of the cursor. Thus, in the allocentric task the cursor-to-target vector is the same as the target-to-target vector. For more details, see text.
