The ability of cells from the indicated cell line and passage number (p) to form tumors in SCID mice was determined by injecting 10⁷ cells subcutaneously into the right flank of 6-wk-old male SCID mice obtained from Charles River. The passage number for the RasV12-3T3 cells was not precisely determined (N/D) because they appear transformed at the earliest point of expression. Mice were monitored daily for tumor formation.
