Error bars depict standard error of the mean (SEM). Estradiol levels were significantly decreased by adult zymosan treatment when data were collapsed across phases of the estrous cycle. Bladder weights were significantly decreased by adult zymosan treatment during diestrus and proestrus, as well as when data were collapsed across phases of the estrous cycle (* significantly different from anesthesia control p < 0.05).
