Data are mean ± s.e.m. with five mice in each group. Animals were 20-week-old males from two litters. The body mass index (BMI) is the weight/(length squared). The organ weights were measured as a percentage of the animal’s body weight. For epididymal (Epi) WAT, we estimate that 10 mg of tissue is the limit of detection. Ratio is the A-ZIP/F-1 value expressed as a fraction of the wild-type value. Probabilities (P) are from two-tailed t-test.
