Food and water intake were measured in female A-ZIP/F-1 and littermate mice using six mice per group. Mice (9–15 weeks old) were housed three/cage, and food consumption was measured daily for 10 days. Data are mean ± s.e.m. Water intake was measured in a separate experiment with individually housed mice. Ratio is the A-ZIP/F-1 value expressed as a fraction of the wild-type value. Probabilities are from two-tailed t-test.
