PvAMT1;1 is an ammonium transporter that depends on extracellular pH. Inward currents were activated by 1 mm chloride salts of the different monovalent cations in oocytes injected with DEPC/H2O (A) or the cRNA of PvAMT1;1 (B) at a holding potential of −150 mV.
