TAIII-induced autophagy and cholesterol localization. A, HeLa cells expressing tfLC3 were treated with 10 μm TAIII or DMSO vehicle (control) for 18 h. Cells were fixed and stained with 5 μg/ml of filipin, and then examined with fluorescence microscope. Portions of TAIII-treated cells were enlarged to show features of autophagic vacuoles.
