The neuroprotective effects of Hwangryunhaedok-tang and fermented Hwangryunhaedok-tang on glutamate-induced cytotoxicity in HT22 cells. HT22 cells were treated with Hwangryunhaedok-tang and fermented Hwangryunhaedok-tang at concentration of 10 and 100 μg/ml, and then incubated for 24 h with glutamate (2 mM). Trolox (50μM) that was used for positive control exhibited relative protective activity (82.89 ± 0.39%).
