Real time RT-PCR data. Powerful lymphagiogenetic factors, VEGF-C and D were significantly increased in the PBS group but not in the EPC group after AMI (A, B). The injection of EPCs decreased Prox-1, a homeobox gene product which plays a key role in lymph vessel development and differentiation, which was significantly increased in the PBS group but not in the EPC group after AMI (C).
