Strain differences in sucralose intake and water intake were detected among SP and SA, respectively. Data are mean (±SEM) intakes of water and sucralose in male Long–Evans (LE) and Sprague–Dawley (SD) SP and SA. (A, B) LE SP consumed more sucralose than SD SP. In addition, sucralose intake increased as a function of increasing sucralose concentration in both strains of SP. (C, D) LE SA consumed more water than SD SA.
