The partially glycosylated hybrid dendrimer 2 blocked LPS triggered pro-inflammatory chemokine (MIP-1β[CCL4] and IL-8) and cytokine (TNF-α and IL-6) production. It did not affect anti-inflammatory cytokine (IL-10 and IFN-β) production. The control was cultured primary human monocytes. * = p<0.001 when compared to the LPS positive control (Student’s t-test). n = 3.
