Effect of jellyfish collagen extracts on Ig production by splenocytes and PP lymphocytes. Splenocytes (a) and PP lymphocytes (b) were isolated from 5 6-week-old female BALB/c mice were pooled and inoculated at 2.0 × 105 cells mL−1 in 5% FBS-ERDF medium with (open circle) and without (filled circle) jellyfish collagen extracts at varying concentrations. After 24 h of cultivation in a CO2 incubator at 37 °C under a humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2-95% air, the amount of Ig in the culture medium was measured using ELISA.
