Table I. The K0.5(DIC) value of cia6-comp was recovered to the wild-type (D66) level.

K0.5(DIC) is calculated by regression analysis from three individual experiments using the Michaelis-Menten kinetics equation V = Vmax[S]/(Km + [S]), in which [S] equals the bicarbonate concentration, V equals the oxygen evolution rate at each bicarbonate concentration, Vmax equals the maximum oxygen evolution rate when bicarbonate concentration is saturated, and Km equals K0.5(DIC).
