The mice were injected s.c. at both of the axillary spaces with 4–6×10⁶ H₂₂ cells. When the tumors were 50–150 mm³ in volume, the mice were randomly divided into two groups. One group of the mice were given 200 mM NaHCO₃-supplemented water to drink ad libitum since then. The mice were treated with free Tet and Tet-NPs respectively at both axillary spaces intratumorally (for details, see Table 1.).
