Nude athymic mice bearing IGROV1-CP xenografts were treated with saline (control), blank nanoparticles (blank NPs), cisplatin and cisplatin loaded nanoparticles (NPs-cp) at five doses every 4 days. The organs including heart, lung, spleen, liver and kidney from the mice treated with saline were shown in the first row. The organs from the mice treated with blank nanoparticles were shown in the second row. The organs from the mice treated with free cisplatin were shown in the third row. The organs from the mice treated with cisplatin-loaded nanoparticles were shown in the fourth row.
