Summary for the studied enzymes of the glycolytic pathway in Drosophila. The results of geographical clinal variation in SNP polymorphism and of the McDonald–Keitman (M–K) tests are combined to assess adaptive amino acid substitutions. Three genes (Ald, G6Pase and Tps1) show significant M–K tests (red letters). Five genes (Treh, UGP, Pgd, Hex-C and Gpdh) show significant variation that is clinal (bold). Two genes (Pgm and G6pd) show both significant clines and significant rejection in the M–K tests (red and bold). Note, G6Pase, Ald and Hex-A were not studied in the cline report. See text for details.
