Antibodies for H3K27me3 were used for ChIP experiments with the chromatin isolated from rice endosperm. Input: DNA sample extracted from the chromatin before the chromatin immunoprecipitation step. ChIP: DNA sample extracted from ChIP enriched chromatin. Mock: DNA extracted from sample that went through the IP procedure without antibody. Primers were designed to amplify the gene indicated on the right. The amplified fragment sizes were from 100 bp to 260 bp. About 20 ng of template DNA were used and the DNA was amplified for twenty four thermal cycles. The genes were selected based on ChIP-Seq data analysis results, including eighteen enriched and five unenriched genes as indicated in the figure.
